Create a line object

Use the line tool to draw straight diagonal, horizontal, and vertical lines.
To create a line object
  1. In the
    Graphics Display
    editor, select
    Objects > Drawing > Line
     or drag Linefrom the toolbox.
  2. Press the mouse button and drag the mouse to draw a line.
    TIP:
    Press
    Ctrl
    as you drag the mouse to draw a horizontal or vertical line.
  3. Double-click the line to open its
    Properties
     dialog box.
  4. In the
    Properties
     dialog box, specify how you want the line to look.
  5. Click
    OK
    .
    TIP:
    When you put a line into
    Edit
    mode and add a point to it, it is converted into a polyline object. If you remove a point from a polyline with three points, it becomes a line object.
