Options on the X-Axis and the Y-Axis tabs of the ME Chart Control Properties dialog box

The
X-Axis
and the
Y-Axis
tabs of the
ME Chart Control Properties
dialog box show the same options as follows.
Options
Descriptions
Min / Max value options
Specify the minimum and maximum values.
Automatic (Best fit based on data)
If select this option, the lowest data reading serves as the minimum value and the highest data reading serves as the maximum value.
As the chart acquires new data, the x-axis or y-axis may re-scale automatically to fit.
Custom
Select this option to specify the minimum and maximum values that serve as the x-axis or y-axis scale.
Specify a fixed value or control the value by a tag such as
X_Axis_Min
or
X_Axis_Max
.
Display options
Specify how the x-axis or y-axis shows at runtime.
Display axis label
Select this check box to show the horizontal or vertical axis label on the chart.
Specify a fixed value or control the value by a tag such as
X_Axis_Label
or
Y_Axis_Label
.
Display scale
Select this check box to show scales besides the x-axis or y-axis.
Enter a value from 0 through 8 to configure the number of decimal places included on the axis. If the value is set to a non-zero value, numbers cannot be accurately converted to octal or hexadecimal. To provide accurate data, the chart shows the numbers as decimals, even if
Octal
or
Hexadecimal
is selected for
Chart radix
on the
General
tab of the
ME Chart Control Properties
dialog box.
Display gridlines
Select this check box to show the horizontal or vertical grid lines on the chart.
For Major Gridlines, enter a value from 0 through 30.
For Minor Gridlines, enter a value from 0 through 10.
Click the color square to configure the color of the grid lines.
