Options in the Language Configuration dialog box

Click the

Add

button to open the

Add Language

dialog box where you can select a language to add to the application.

Click the

Remove

button to remove the selected language from the list. A prompt appears asking you to verify that you want to delete the selection. When you click

Yes

, the selection is removed from the language list.

If a language is the current language or the default language for the application, you cannot remove the language.

Click the

Export

button to open the

Export Operation

dialog box of the String Import Export Wizard.

Click the

Import

button to open the

Import Operation

dialog box of the String Import Export Wizard.

To change the application's default language, select a language and click this button. A check mark appears beside the default language.

Select this check box to show undefined strings for any language in the default language. If this check box is clear, undefined strings will be shown as single question mark characters (?). If a text string is undefined in the default language, it is shown as a single question mark.

If you have specified that undefined strings will be shown in the default language, when you export strings to an Excel spreadsheet, undefined strings are exported as"**UNDEFINED**". However, when you export strings to a Unicode file, the default language strings will be exported for undefined strings.
