Select import options

Options available in the
Machine Edition Import Wizard - Import Options
window will vary depending on the type of application file you are importing.
Window size conversion
  • Convert to new window size
Select this option to specify a new window size for the imported project. The size you specify is used for all Replace displays.
  • Size (pixels)
Choose a window size from the list. If you choose a standard window size, the Width and Height boxes fill automatically. If you choose Custom size, type the width and height of the custom window, in pixels, in these boxes.
  • Scaling example
If this box is not checked, the displays will be resized, and the objects will retain their original size and position in the display. This may result in some objects being outside the display area, but you can still select them and move them onto the display. If they are not moved into the display, they will not be visible at runtime.
    TIP:
If you select the scaling option, imported text will not change font size.
Touch property conversion
  • Enable touch on graphic objects from keypad only applications
Check this box if you want the operator to be able to press objects using a touch screen or mouse
Clear this box if you want the operator to be able to press objects using a keypad or external keyboard only.
  • Align top left and add spaces to match existing alignment
If this option is selected, captions in the imported application will be top-left aligned, and spaces and carriage returns will be added to make a single caption with Word Wrap on.
