Save graphic displays

To save a new graphic display
  1. Choose
    Save
     from the
    File
    menu.
  2. Specify a name for the graphic display you are saving.
  3. Click
    OK.
    TIP:
    • You can use Save As to save a copy of an existing graphic display under a different name. This creates a copy of the file with the new name, leaving the original file unmodified. All graphic display files are stored in a directory determined by
      FactoryTalk View Studio
      . You cannot change the directory.
    • The length of the file name and its complete path should be no more than 256 characters.
    • When renaming graphic displays, make sure you update any graphic objects that use the display name (for example, goto display button or display list selector) to the new name.
