Serial port configuration page

Configure the serial port settings to establish communication between a
Micro800
 controller and a serial device.
Use the
Serial Port
 configuration page to do the following actions:
  • Configure communication protocols for
    Micro820
     L20E,
    Micro850
     L50E, and
    Micro870
     L70E controllers.
  • Select the communication protocol for the serial port.
  • Configure the communication settings for the selected communication protocol.
Serial port configuration settings vary with the driver that you selected. Available drivers are as follows:
By default, these serial port settings are not available for a
Micro820
 L20E controller that supports remote LCD. To make the settings available, remove the LCD overwrite for serial settings.
