Interpret the Backup and Compare Report for Allen-Bradley Stratix Switch
The Backup and Compare report indicates the differences in Allen-Bradley Stratix Switch data, which usually includes one or two DAT files (dlr.dat and vlan.dat) and a TEXT file (config.text). The DAT files comparison is a checksum comparison as opposed to the TEXT files that are a detailed comparison. By comparing two versions of the Allen-Bradley Stratix Switch data, the report shows whether differences are found between the files, and shows the detailed differences between the TEXT files only. The compare partner is the Backup Data file as you set up the schedule. The report type is Backup-to-Backup Data.
TIP:
You may add other files to the binder but only dlr.dat, vlan.dat, and config.text can be backed up or compared.
The report lists the compare results of the compared files.

section shows whether differences are found between the files. Depending on the data on your Allen-Bradley Stratix Switch, the files on your device may vary from those in the example.
The
Details
section uses red color to indicate where differences have been detected between the TEXT files.
