Items in Data Files Compare Options dialog box

Select this option if you do not want to compare data files.

Select this option to compare all data files of this type.

Select this option to specify only certain data files to compare. When you select this option, all data files found appear in the

Files

list. Select the check box next to each file to compare.

Select this option to specify the elements of the data files you want to compare, and then select the desired elements in the box.

Click to add the files elements you want to compare. Using the element syntax described in the

Add Element

dialog box that appears when you click

Add

, list the data file elements you want compared, insert optional comments, and then click OK. For each element to compare, click the

Add

button and complete the

Add Element

dialog box. The

Add

button is only available when

Compare Only Entered Elements

is selected.

Click to edit the selected file element in the list. This button is only available when

Compare Only Entered Elements

is selected.

Click to delete the selected file element in the list. This button is only available when

Compare Only Entered Elements

is selected.
