Conclusion and additional features

You have now completed the initial steps necessary to make use of your FactoryTalk AssetCentre system. There are, of course, many more things you can do with FactoryTalk AssetCentre:
  • FactoryTalk AssetCentre provides logs of events and actions that occur in the system. You can review the Event Log and Audit Log to see what happened and who did what in your system.
  • You can search the logs to find specific information, such as
    When was the program file for the Line2B PLC-5 processor last modified and who made the edits?
  • FactoryTalk AssetCentre includes a version control function called Archive. When you add an asset to the asset tree and associate a file with that asset, the file is stored in Archive.
