Items in Schneider Addressing dialog box

Items in the dialog box include:
  • Communication protocol
    TCP/IP is the only supported protocol.
  • IP Address
    Type the IP address of the physical device. For example, 192.168.1.11.
  • Application Password
    Enter the application password that is used to encrypt the applications in the controller to access a protected controller project.
    IMPORTANT:
    To successfully run backup and compare schedules for Schneider controllers, the password used to encrypt the Schneider controller project must match the password assigned to the controller asset in the asset tree. If the project does not use a password, or the password has changed or been removed, you must update or remove the saved password to be consistent.
