Items in Add Link dialog box

Items in the dialog box include:
  • Link target
    Navigate the asset tree displayed here to find the file or binder to which you want to add a link. Click the file or binder to select it.
  • Link Name
    Once you've selected a file or binder in the
    Link target
     field, this field is automatically filled in. If you want to change the name of the link in the Asset View, edit this field.
  • Description
    (Optional) Enter a description of the link. The description will appear on the
    Archive
    tab when the link is selected in the Asset View. The description can be a maximum of 260 characters.
  • red_circle_exclamation
    If you see this icon next to any of the fields above, it means the current information in that field is not valid. Hover the pointer over the icon to show a message indicating what is required.
