Add FactoryTalk Optix Runtime (Software) dialog box

How do I open the Add FactoryTalk Optix Runtime (Software) dialog box?
  1. To enter the
    Design
     mode if you are not already in it, click design-mode-button.
  2. In the
    Asset Catalog
    , expand the
    SCADA, EOI and FactoryTalk Items
     node.
  3. Drag a FactoryTalk Optix Runtime (Software) asset onto the tree in the asset view.
Use the
Add FactoryTalk Optix Runtime (Software)
 dialog box to add a FactoryTalk Optix Runtime (Software) asset to the asset tree. You can add a FactoryTalk Optix Runtime (Software) asset in the root or in a container.
This asset allows you to run a schedule that backs up FactoryTalk Optix Runtime software on a generic Windows or a Linux operating system. FactoryTalk Optix applications designed using FactoryTalk Optix Studio 1.6.4 or later are supported. To ensure optimal performance and compatibility with FactoryTalk AssetCentre, we recommend always applying the latest available hotfixes for any version of FactoryTalk Optix Studio.
The device is added to the asset tree as soon as this dialog box opens. Clicking
Cancel
 in this dialog box abandons any changes made to the device properties, but leaves the device in the tree.
