Add files to the asset tree

You can use the
Add Files
dialog box to add files to the asset tree.
To add files:
  1. Click
    Add Files
    .
  2. Navigate to the directory containing the file or files you want to add.
  3. Select the file and click
    Open
    . Use Ctrl-click and Shift-click to select multiple files.
  4. Verify in the list of files that the correct files were selected. If you need to remove any files, select them in the list and click
    Remove
    .
  5. (Optional) In the
    Description
     field, type a brief description of the files, such as
    My Processor program and documentation files
    . This description will be shown in the
    Archive
     tab when the file is selected. The description can be a maximum of 260 characters.
  6. (Optional) In the
    Comments
     field, type a comment about this action (adding the files). The comment for this action will appear in the
    History
    tab in
    Archive
     and the Audit log record for this action.
