Items in Remote I/O PanelView dialog box

Items in the dialog box include:
  • PanelView Type
    Select your PanelView device.
  • SLC Scanner Slot
    If the PanelView operator interface is connected to an Allen-Bradley SLC 500 controller, use these two fields to specify the location of the scanner in the rack.
    • Use Leftmost Scanner
      Select this check box if the scanner is in the typical leftmost location. If not, clear this box and specify the slot number in which the scanner is located.
    • Slot
      Specify the slot number in which the scanner is located. This is only necessary if the scanner is not in the leftmost position. Clear the
      Use Leftmost Scanner
       check box to make this field available.
  • Device Settings
    • Rack Address
      Enter the address of the remote I/O device on the remote I/O link. 0-77 octal.
    • Starting Module
      Click the starting module (group) number for the remote I/O device.
    • Byte
      For PanelView 1200, 1200e, 1000e, and 1400e devices, click the
      Low
       or
      High
       button to indicate which byte (slot) is used.
