The following table shows the buttons on the Archive toolbar and their meanings.
Button
Description
checkout
Retrieve a copy of a file or binder and make it available for editing by placing it in the current working folder on your computer. Check out a file or binder so that only you can edit the file.
checkin
Check in a file or binder to return it to the Archive database. Checking in a file or binder saves a new version and backs up any changes you made to the file or binder. If no changes have been made, a new version will not be created in the Archive database.
undocheckout
Undo a check out to reverse a check out operation. This reverts the file to the previous version in the Archive database and marks the file as checked in.
Unblock workflow
Undo a Management of Change workflow. This resets the Management of Change workflow status of files and binders associated with the selected asset.
get
Retrieve a read-only copy of a file to the current working folder on your computer so that you can access the file (for example, to copy rungs from a ladder program and paste them into another program) without modifying the master file.
newlabel
Label a file to describe a version of the file for easier identification and access at a later date.
removelabel
Remove a label from a file so that the particular file version no longer has a label.
button_export menu
Export the selected asset inventory backup file (.raai) to XML for the purposes of Product Compatibility and Download Center (PCDC).
