When to use the Data Source Configuration Wizard?
Use the Data Source Configuration Wizard in the following circumstances:
- To change the system password that the FactoryTalk AssetCentre server uses to connect to the SQL Server database. You might do this if the existing password has been compromised.
- To change the SQL Server that the FactoryTalk AssetCentre software uses. You would do this if, for example, you moved the SQL Server to another computer or renamed the SQL Server.
- If you want to create the FactoryTalk AssetCentre server connection information outside of the normal installation process.
