Create a CONFIG file

Before extracting event log attachments with a command, create a configuration file that includes all the settings for the operation.
TIP:
Command-line parameters are case-insensitive. However, if a specified value includes a space, be sure to enclose the value in quotation marks (for example, "value with spaces").
To create a CONFIG file
  1. Open the Windows
    Command Prompt
     window.
  2. Enter the full path of
    RA.FTAC.EventLogAttachmentExtractor.exe
     and the
    /C
     command. This command opens the tool and allows you to further configure its settings.
    For example,
    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockwell Software\AssetCentre Tools\AssetCentre Event Log Attachment Extractor"\RA.FTAC.EventLogAttachmentExtractor.exe /C
  3. Press
    Enter
    .
  4. In the
    FTAC Event Log Attachment Extractor
     dialog, configure all the settings.
  5. Click
    OK
    .
    The
    RA.FTAC.EventLogAttachmentExtractor.exe
    .
    config
    file is saved at the
    AssetCentre Event Log Attachment Extractor
    folder.
