Sign in to FactoryTalk AssetCentre Web Client
You must sign in every time you try to open the web client with a browser.
To sign in to FactoryTalk AssetCentre Web Client
- From theStartmenu, selectRockwell Software>FactoryTalk AssetCentre Web Client, or open the browser, and then enter the URL address http://<FQDN>/RockwellSoftware/AssetCentreWebClient.TIP:FQDNis the fully qualified domain name of the FactoryTalk AssetCentre Server computer.If you have changed the default port in site binding, you need to include the self-defined port number in the computer name part in the form asMYSERVER:PortNumber.
- From the FactoryTalk AssetCentre Web Client page, sign in using one of these ways. Before signing in to FactorTalk AssetCentre Web Client, you need to configureAzure Active Directory,Azure AD site,OpenID Connect site, andAzure AD user groupin the Azure portal andFactoryTalk® Administration Console. For more information, selectHelp > Contentsfrom the FactoryTalk Administration Console.
- To sign in using a Windows-linked user or FactoryTalk user account, selectPassword, and then enter the username and password.
- To sign in using an Azure AD user account, selectAzure AD, and then use the dropdown menu to select an Azure AD site. ClickingSign instarts the Azure AD's authentication process.TIP:When configuring the Azure AD Authenticate Site in FactoryTalk Administration Console, you need to provide a Client Secret from the Azure AD App Registration to successfully sign in using the FactoryTalk AssetCentre Web Client and Azure Ad Authentication.
- To sign in using an OpenID Connect Identity Provider, selectOpenID Connect, and then use the dropdown menu to select an Open ID Connect site. ClickingSign instarts the OpenID Connect Identity Provider's authentication process.
- SelectSign in.
