Manage security posture check rules

Manage security posture check rules, including:
  • Deleting a security posture check rule if it is no longer needed.
  • Editing a security posture check rule if any setting needs to be updated.
  • Duplicating a security posture check rule to quickly create similar rules.
Prerequisite
Make sure that you have the following permissions:
  • View Security Posture Check Rule
  • Configure Security Posture Check Rule
To configure permissions, go to
FactoryTalk Administration Console

Product Policies

FactoryTalk AssetCentre

Feature Security

Security Compliance Policies

To manage a security posture check rule
  1. On
    Security Compliance
    , select
    Manage Security Posture Check rules
    .
  2. Do the following:
    • Edit a security posture check rule:
      1. Select the rule that you want to edit, and then change the settings as you desire.
      2. Select
        OK
        .
    • Delete a security posture check rule:
      1. Select the rule that you want to delete, and then select delete rule.
      2. Select
        Yes
        .
      3. Select
        OK
        .
    • Duplicate a security posture check rule:
      1. Select the rule that you want to duplicate, and then select duplicate rule.
        A new rule with the same settings will be created.
      2. Select a desired controller from the dropdown list, enter a product string, and then configure desired settings in the copied rule.
      3. Select
        OK
