Manage users

This section describes how to manage user accounts (for example, add, modify, and remove users) in FactoryTalk Historian ME using the
User Management
 page.
To access the
User Management
 page, click the
Configure Historian
 tab, and then click
User Management
.
TIP:
  • You must have administrator privileges to manage user accounts.
  • The
    User Management
     page is intended primarily to manage user credentials used for logging on to the module in the FactoryTalk Historian ME Local Security mode.
    However, in some cases you may want to recreate on the module the user credentials configured on the FactoryTalk Directory server in the FactoryTalk Administration Console. For more information, refer to the FactoryTalk Directory and FactoryTalk Security documentation.
