Add a ladder diagram branch to a routine

Add a branch to a rung to indicate an OR operation. Instructions that you place in a branch instruct the routine to use either the instruction in the rung or the instruction in a branch or the instruction in a branch level or the next branch level.
Prerequisites
To add a ladder diagram branch to a routine
  1. From the Ladder Editor
    Toolbox
    , drag a branch md-branch to a valid drop zone in the rung. Valid drop zones are indicated by Valid Drop Location Indicator.
    TIP: If
    Toolbox
    is not visible, on the pane bar, select Toolbox Icon
    Toolbox
    .
  2. (optional) Add an instruction or branch level to the branch.
