Audit messages

FactoryTalk Diagnostics
 logs a
FactoryTalk View
 audit tracking message whenever an editor that handles multiple components adds, deletes, or removes a component. Examples of multiple-component editors are the
Data Log Models
 editor,
Graphics
editor, and
Macro
editor.
Tag writes are also logged.
  • Tag writes that are successful, are logged with the severities Audit and Information, and an audience of Developer and Secure.
  • Tag writes that fail, are logged with the severities Audit and Error, and an audience of Developer and Secure.
If you set up an audit log in
FactoryTalk AssetCentre
, audit messages of
FactoryTalk View
 are logged there as well as to
FactoryTalk Diagnostics
.
