About language switching in graphic libraries

The graphic libraries installed with
FactoryTalk View
are language neutral by default. This means that the objects in graphic libraries display text strings in whatever language they were shipped, regardless of the language an application is opened in or its default language. To switch languages for the text strings in a graphic library, turn on multiple language support in the
Properties
tab of the
Display Settings
dialog box.
When you save the library display, all strings that can be switched are saved in the current application language. When you do this, only the text strings for the current language will be displayed. Text strings in any other language will appear as undefined strings. The strings will have to be translated before they will display in other languages.
When you create a new graphic library display, the
Support Multiple Languages
option is turned on (checked) by default. If you want the display to be language neutral, clear the
Support Multiple Languages
option.
