Set up version checking of stored displays

For clients to download ActiveX controls automatically when the display containing them is opened, you must set up the Internet Explorer options so that both unsigned and signed CAB files can be downloaded without prompt dialog boxes appearing each time.
To make sure that displays saved with a new version of an ActiveX control are sent to the SE Clients:
  1. In Internet Explorer, click
    Tools
     >
    Internet options
    .
  2. In the
    General
     tab, click
    Settings
     in the
    Temporary Internet files
     frame.
  3. In the
    Settings
     dialog box, click
    Every visit to the page
    .
  4. Click
    OK
     in the
    Settings
     and
    Internet Options
     dialog boxes.
    TIP:
    In Internet Explorer if you leave the option Check for Newer versions of stored pages, set to Automatic, which is the default, Internet Explorer will not update the ActiveX control if a newer version exists.
