Run multiple SE clients

You can have more than one
FactoryTalk View SE
 client window running on a single computer. To do this, you configure the clients and store their .CLI files on the client system. Having multiple client windows allows you to connect to more than one application or view more than one part of a network application or network distributed application.
To run multiple SE clients:
  1. On the client computer, for each
    FactoryTalk View SE
     Client you plan to run, use the
    FactoryTalk View
     Site Edition Client Wizard to create a client configuration file.
  2. On the server computers, make sure that a
    FactoryTalk View
     application is configured.
  3. On the client computer, open a
    FactoryTalk View SE
     Client. After the user has been authenticated, the initial display specified in the client configuration file will be opened.
  4. On the client computer, open successive
    FactoryTalk View SE
     Clients in the same way.
