Import a project for an HMI server - network station

When you import a project, you can use an RSView32 project, a
FactoryTalk View ME
project, or an HMI project from a
FactoryTalk View SE
application.

To import a project for an HMI server:
  1. In
    FactoryTalk View SE
    , in the Explorer window, right-click the application root or right-click an area name, depending upon where you are adding the server, and then click
    Add New Server > HMI Server
    .
  2. In the
    Select Operation
    window of the
    HMI Server wizard
    , click
    Import a project > Next
    .
  3. In the
    Import Project
    window, in the
    Project type
    field, click down arrow to display the types of projects that can be imported, and then click one to select it.
  4. Beside the
    Project file
    field, click the
    Browse (...)
    to browse for the project files that are available.
  5. In the
    Open
    dialog box, double-click a project, and then click the project's .sed file >
    Open
    .
    This copies the path and name of the SED file into the
    Import Project
    window.
  6. Click
    Next
    .
  7. In the
    New HMI Server Properties
    window, type a name and description for the new HMI server.
  8. Type or browse for the name of the computer that will host the new HMI server and then click
    Finish
    .
