Using a parameter list
You can use a parameter list, instead of a parameter file, to provide tag or folder names, or parts of tag names, to the tag placeholder in a display list selector object at runtime. This lets you to use different sets of tags with a single display list selector.
The advantage of using a parameter list, over using a parameter file, is that the parameter list stays with the object and is moved and copied as the object is moved and copied.
A parameter list is particularly useful with the faceplates, which tend to come in groups with secondary displays opening from a primary display. You can also assign just a folder name in the primary display, which, when carried forward into a secondary display, defines a structured tag. When a secondary display opens, it automatically applies the appropriate tags from the folder to the display objects.
