Add an image to a graphic object

Use the image browser to add an image to a graphic object.
You can also place an image on a graphic object using the
Property Panel
, if the object has one. If you use the
Property Panel
, you can place the same image on multiple selected objects simultaneously.
To add an image to a graphic object:
  1. In the graphic display, draw the graphic object you are going to import an image for.
  2. Right-click the object and then click
    Properties
    .
  3. In the
    Image settings
    frame, double-click the
    browse button(...)
    beside the
    Image
    field.
  4. In the
    Image Browser
    , click
    Add from File..
    .
  5. In the
    Open
    dialog box, navigate to the bitmap, JPEG, PNG, or SVG image you plan to add and select it.
  6. Click
    Open
    to add the image to the list in the
    Image Browser
    . This also adds the image to the
    Images
    folder in the
    Explorer
    window.
  7. Click
    OK
    to close the
    Image Browser
    . The name of the image you added will be in the
    Image
    field in the
    Properties
    dialog box for the object you are working with.
  8. Specify the image settings such as the alignment and whether the image will be scaled, and then click
    OK
    to apply the settings to the object.
