Property Panel
How do I open the Property Panel?
By default, it shows on the right side when you open the
Graphics
editor. If it is not shown, in the Graphics
editor, do one of the following:- From the menu, clickView>Property Panel.
- On the toolbar, click theShow/Hide Property Panelicon.
- On a display, right-click an object and selectProperty Panel.
If you select more than one object in the display, the property panel displays those properties that are common to the selected objects, and instead of an object name, the words
Multiple Selections
are displayed, instead of the object's name, below the title bar.In the
Property Panel
you can modify the property values of graphic objects, and, for some graphic objects, create connections between tags and properties to animate the object. For third-party ActiveX objects, what you see will depend on what was supplied by the provider of the object. The
Property Panel
has a Properties
tab and a Connections
tab.- ThePropertiestab shows the properties for the selected graphic object.
- TheConnectionstab provides a way to link a tag to a property for certain objects.
