Use the
E-Signature
tab of a graphic object's Properties
dialog box to configure the electronic signature capability to control and record operator actions.The following graphic objects have the common
E-Signature

The following table shows the options on the
E-Signature
tab.Options | Description |
---|---|
Require E-Signature | Turns on the electronic signature function to control and record operator actions. |
Allow blank comment | Allows empty comments when the operator or approver executes the action. |
Show confirmation message | Shows a confirmation message when the operator or approver executes the action. Select this check box, and then edit the confirmation message. |
Insert Variable | Inserts a type of variable to the confirmation message. After you set up the embedded variable, the syntax appears in the confirmation text box. At runtime, it will be read as part of the confirmation message. |
Require re-authentication | Requires the password when the operator executes the action. |
Require counter signature | Requires the authentication by another person to execute the action. |
Authorized Group | Lists all the groups in FactoryTalk Security. All members of the selected group can be a supervisor of this object. You do not need to add the Authorized Group to Runtime Security. |
