Bar Graph Properties - General tab
The following table shows options under
Appearance
of the General
tab.Options | Description |
---|---|
Border style | Select the border style for the object. |
Border width | Type the number of pixels for the width of the object’s border. |
Back style | Select whether the object background is solid, gradient, or transparent. If you select Transparent, the object’s background is not filled in and any objects behind it show through. If you select Gradient, the object's background is filled with a linear gradient color. |
Fill style | Select whether the bar graph background is solid or gradient. If you select Gradient, the bar graph's background is filled with a linear gradient color. |
Border uses back color | Select this check box to use the object’s background color for the border color.
If this is not checked, you can assign a separate color to the border, instead of
using the object’s background color. |
Back color | This field displays the current background color for the object or state. Click it to select another color. If the background style is transparent, the application does not use this background color. If the background style is gradient, click it to bring up the gradient fill dialog box to configure the gradient fill. For objects with a line style other than Solid, the background color is used for the spaces between the dots or dashes. |
Border color | This field displays the border color for the object or state. Click it to select another color. This color appears at runtime only if Border uses back color (in the General tab) is not selected. |
Fill color | This field displays the current fill color for the bar graph. Click it to select another color. If the fill style is gradient, click it to bring up the gradient fill dialog box to configure the gradient fill. If you specify thresholds for the bar graph, you can also assign a fill color to each threshold. |
The following table shows options under
Bar graph settings
of the General
tab.Options | Description |
---|---|
Minimum value | Type the value required to empty the bar graph. If the Value connection is at or below this value, the bar graph is empty. |
Maximum value | Type the value required to completely fill the bar graph. If the Value connection is at or above this value, the bar graph is full. |
Fill direction | Select the direction for filling the bar graph. |
The following table shows options under
Thresholds
of the General
tab.Options | Description |
---|---|
Number of thresholds | Select the number of thresholds for the object. Select 0 if you do not want to use thresholds. |
Threshold type | Select whether to use an absolute value, or a percentage of the range between the minimum and maximum values, for the thresholds. |
Threshold 1 value | Type the value or percentage for the first threshold. |
Fill color | This field displays the current fill color for the section of the bar graph that’s at or above the first threshold and below the second threshold (if enabled). Click it to select another color. If the fill style is gradient, click it to bring up the gradient fill dialog box to configure the gradient fill. |
Blink | Select this check box if the section of the bar graph that’s at or above the first threshold (and below the second threshold, if enabled) is to blink at runtime. The section of the bar graph blinks twice per second. |
Threshold 2 value | Type the value or percentage for the second threshold. |
Fill color | This field displays the current fill color for the section of the bar graph that’s at or above the second threshold. Click it to select another color. If the fill style is gradient, click it to bring up the gradient fill dialog box to configure the gradient fill. |
Blink | Select this check box if the section of the bar graph that’s at or above the second threshold is to blink at runtime. The section of the bar graph blinks twice per second. |
