Project components are missing after restoring

When restoring, any project components other than tags and alarms you added since your backup will not be deleted, but might not be shown in the Explorer tree. You can retrieve missing components by right-clicking the type of component (for example, the Displays folder) in the Explorer tree, and then selecting
Add Component into Project
. Any changes made to components since the backup was made will be lost because restoring overwrites the components.
Any new tags or alarms you added since the backup was made will be lost when you restore the HMI server project. You must recreate any missing alarms or tags.
Example
If your HMI project included graphic displays called Mixing and Baking, and you added a display called Packaging after backing up the HMI project. When you restore, the Explorer tree will show only the restored versions of Mixing and Baking, and any changes made to those displays since the backup will be lost. The Packaging graphic display will still be included among the graphic displays on the disk, even though it was not included in the backup, but it will not be visible in the Explorer tree. You can add the graphic display back into the project by right-clicking Displays and then selecting
Add Component into Project
.
