Reset the port number

By default, the custom website uses port number 49280 and the HTTPS protocol uses port number 443. If port 49280 or 443 is not suitable for your system, for example if it is being used for other purposes, reset the port number.
To rest the port number, you need to configure the Internet Information Services and the policy of FactoryTalk View SE in FactoryTalk Admin Console.
Changing the port number on one HMI server computer does not change it Directory-wide. If you change the port number here, be sure to change it to the same number on each of the HMI server computers.
To reset the port number
  1. On each HMI server computer, select
Start > Windows System > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager > Sites
    .
  2. Right-click the website that you want to change and select
    Edit Bindings
    .
  3. In the
    Site Bindings
dialog box, select the row, and then select
    Edit
    .
  4. In the
    Port
text box, type the number of the port, and then click
    OK
    .
  5. In FactoryTalk Administration Console or FactoryTalk View SE, select
System > Policies > Product Policies > FactoryTalk View SE
    , and then double-click
    Custom Website
    or
    HTTPS Protocol
    .
  6. In the
    Port Number
text box, type the same port number as in Step 3.
