Device definition dialog box - Overview view

In the
Device definition
 dialog box, use the
Overview
 view to configure the definition of the device.
TIP:
  • Changing
    Electronic keying
     when online interrupts connection to the device and any device that is connected through the device. If an I/O connection to a device is interrupted, data loss will occur.
  • The
    Connection
     parameter affects the configuration options available for input data and output data, and determines what data is exchanged between the owner-controller and the device.
