WebTrend Migration Tool

Use the WebTrend Migration Tool to migrate
FactoryTalk® VantagePoint®
 trends to WebTrend. This tool applies to
FactoryTalk VantagePoint
 version 8.00.00 and later. You must have administrator privilege on the
FactoryTalk VantagePoint
 server and WebTrend server.
IMPORTANT:
  • While the Asset framework and Data Archive are connected to the WebTrend server, if the tags of a
    FactoryTalk VantagePoint
     trend are not bound to the Asset Framework and Data Archive, these tags will not be displayed on the canvas when the trend is imported to WebTrend.
  • For the trend tags from the Asset Framework, this tool will identify the Data Archive where the tags are bound. Therefore, if tags from multiple Asset Framework databases are bound to the same Data Archive tag, only one Asset Framework tag can be imported to WebTrend.
  • WebTrend version 1.00.00 only supports
    FactoryTalk® Historian Site Edition
     as the data source.
