Import trends to WebTrend

To import trends to WebTrend
  1. Copy the WebTrend Migration Tool and the exported JSON file into the WebTrend server computer.
  2. In the
    MigrationTool
     folder, double-click
    WebTrendMigrationTool.exe
    .
  3. On the page, select the tab.
  4. Select
    Browse
     to select the exported JSON file.
  5. Select
    Browse
     to select the WebTrend database folder. For example, the path is
    C:\Program Files\Rockwell Software\FactoryTalk Historian\Historian WebTrend\Databases
    .
    Ensure that the folder contains exactly one
    .ini
     file and one
    .db
     file.
  6. Select
    Start migration
    .
    Trends will be imported to the WebTrend database.
    The migration tool will back up the database to
    C:\Program Files\Rockwell Software\FactoryTalk Historian\Historian WebTrend\Databases\Database backup
    .
  7. Open WebTrend in a browser, select
    Browse Trend
    , and then expand
    Public
    .
    Trends with the suffix
    - VP
     are migrated from
    FactoryTalk VantagePoint
    .
    If a trend from
    FactoryTalk VantagePoint
     exists in WebTrend, migrating again will overwrite it.
