Set up the sample demonstrations

The installation process places the
SampleDemo1
 and
SampleDemo2
 folders in the FTBatch_Projects share on the batch server machine. Each of these
SampleDemo
 folders contains four subfolders with the files for the sample application, including the area model and recipes.
  1. To run the sample demonstrations:
  2. Configure the Network Editor to locate the material database.
  3. Add a
    FactoryTalk
     Security user.
  4. Configure the
    FactoryTalk Batch
     Server to locate the area model.
  5. Verify the recipes in the area model.
    IMPORTANT: The default databases MaterialBasedRecipe and SAMPLE2_Materials cannot be removed from SQL Server. You are free to add another database and use it for production or test, but you must keep the originally installed databases intact even though they are not being used.
