Overview view

In the
Device Definition
 dialog, use the
Overview
 view to:
  • Enter the name and description for the device.
  • Enter the IP configuration for the device.
  • Define the series and revision of the device.
  • Select the electronic keying.
  • Configure the connection and data formats.
TIP:
  • The parameters in this dialog appear shaded in Run mode.
  • While online, the only editable parameters are
    Description
    ,
    Electronic Keying
    , and
    IO-Link Class B Enabled
    .
  • After making a change and selecting
    OK
     in the
    Device Definition
     dialog, you must select
    OK
     or
    Apply
     in the
    Overview
     view for the change to take effect.
