Connection and Data Formats

Change the device definition at any time without deleting the existing device and creating a new device. The profile attempts to display all configuration data for the new settings.
A connection is a real-time data transfer link between the owner-controller and the device that the configuration references. The connection type determines what data is exchanged between the owner-controller and the device.
