Startup/Faults configuration page

Use the
Startup/Faults
configuration page to do the following actions:
  • Configure the startup settings for the
    Micro800
    controller in the
    FactoryTalk Design Workbench
    project.
  • Open the controller diagnostics view to review memory information for the current project and the project stored in memory.
  • Specify the controller behavior when a hard fault occurs.
TIP: Before changing the
Mode Behavior
and
Fault Override
settings, disconnect the controller.

Setting
Description
Diagnose
Opens the
Controller Diagnostics
view.
Diagnose
is available when the controller is online.
Mode Behavior
Specifies the startup behavior of the
Micro800
controller on power-up. Options are:
  • Retain last mode before power-down
  • Remote run mode
Retain last mode before power-down
is the default setting.
Fault Override
Specifies the fault behavior during controller power-up. Options are:
  • Do not clear faults
  • Clear faults
Do not clear faults
is the default setting.
Hard Fault
Specifies the controller behavior when a hard fault occurs. Options are:
  • Stop the controller
  • Automatically restart the controller
Stop the controller
is the default setting.
Memory Module (L50E and L70E controllers)/Memory Card (L20E controllers)
Displays the message and a link to the memory card or memory module configuration page.
The link is available for:
  • L20E controllers that support the memory card.
  • L50E and L70E controllers with the 2080-SDMEMRTC-SC or 2080-MEMBAK-RTC2 plug-in module.
