2080-SDMEMRTC-SC plug-in module

As a product of Rockwell Automation Encompass Partner - Spectrum Controls, 2080-SDMEMRTC-SC is a memory backup and high-accuracy RTC plug-in module that extends the memory for L50E and L70E controllers.
The 2080-SDMEMRTC-SC plug-in module provides:
  • Ability to flash update the firmware.
  • Ability to configure controller behavior at power-up using the ConfigMeFirst.txt file.
  • Supports for removal insertion under power.
  • High-accuracy real-time clock function without the need to calibrate or update.
  • Data logs and recipes.
  • Backup and restore.
Flash updating of the firmware is supported. The plug-in module can be attached to the L50E or L70E controller.
After adding a 2080-SDMEMRTC-SC plug-in module:
  • In
    Project Organizer
    , under
    Plug-in
    , a
    2080-SDMEMRTC-SC
     node is created.
  • The 2080-SDMEMRTC-SC configuration page contains the following nodes. Select a node to view and configure the corresponding settings.
    • Overview
      : Displays the device image, catalog number, revision, product type, and slot number. Selecting
      Device definition
       opens the
      Device definition
       dialog to change the slot and revision, and to configure whether to fault the controller when the plug-in module is absent.
    • Memory Module
      : Configures the settings on the Memory Module configuration page.
