Add an axis to the controller project

For
Micro800
controllers that support motion control, the
PTO Motion
node is available in the
Controller
tree.
To support motion control in a
Micro800
controller project, you must add an axis to the controller project and configure motion control settings on the
Axis<x>
configuration page. The number of supported axes depends on the controller type.
After adding an axis to the controller project, in the
Controller
tree, under the
PTO Motion
node, an
Axis<x>
node is created. Selecting the
Axis<x>
node opens the
Axis<x>
configuration page, which contains the following pages:
To add an axis to the controller project
  1. In
    Project Organizer
    , double-click the controller node to open the controller application workspace.
  2. In the
    Controller
    tree, under the
    PTO Motion
    node, select
    General
    .
  3. On the
    PTO Motion - General
    configuration page, select the axis you want to add.
    Upon selecting, the
    Axis<x>
    nodes are created under
    General
    in the
    Controller
    tree.
