Axis - Motor and Load tab
Configure the motion settings for the
Micro800
controllers that support motion. Add an axis to create the axis configuration pages.Use the
Axis<x> - Motor and Load
configuration page to do the following actions:- Select the unit scaling that matches your mechanical system values.
- Specify the count of pulses corresponding to one revolution of the motor.
- Specify the distance covered by the load in one revolution of the motor.
- Select the direction of the motor.
- Select the method for interpreting the direction signal that the controller receives.
- Specify the delay time for the motion logic when an axis is inRunmode and the motion direction is reversed.
Category | Setting | Description |
---|---|---|
User-defined Unit | Position | Specifies the unit scaling that matches your mechanical system values. The units are applied across all commands and axis user unit values for programming, configuration, and monitoring functions. The specified unit for Position is used for all unit parameters of the axis.Options are:
mm is the default setting. For example, if you specify inch as the user-defined unit for Position , then inch is also used as the unit for Travel per revolution . |
Time | Shows the read-only unit of time measurement for the controller. The unit is s . | |
Motor Revolution | Pulses per revolution | Specifies the count of pulses corresponding to 1 revolution of the motor. The value is from 0.0001 through 8388607 in single precision floating format. The default value is 200.0. |
Travel per revolution | Specifies the linear or rotational distance covered by the load in a revolution of the motor. The value is from 0.0001 through 8388607 in single precision floating format, measured in user-defined unit. For example, 1.0 mm. | |
Direction | Polarity | Specifies whether the direction signal received by the controller, as a discrete input, is to be interpreted on the input as Inverted or Non-inverted .
Non-inverted is the default setting. |
Mode | Specifies the direction of the motion.
Options are:
Bi-directional is the default option. | |
Change delay time | Specifies the duration of the motion logic delay when an axis is in Run mode and the motion direction is reversed. The time delay allows the axis to stop before changing directions. The value is from 0 through 100 milliseconds. The default value is 10 ms . |
