Establish communications to the controller

Use the tasks to establish communication with the controller and complete the following tasks:
  • Connect the USB cable from the L70E controller to the computer.
  • Add a USB driver.
  • Connect to the
    Micro800
     controller.
  • (optional) Add the Ethernet driver and manually enter the IP address of the
    Micro800
     controller.
Before the steps, you created a Traffic_Controller_FB user-defined function block, defined the input and output variables, and added an instance of Traffic_Controller_FB to the Traffic_Light_Control ladder diagram program.
