Add modules to the routing table

To add a module to the routing table:
  1. In the 1756-DHRIO interface, select the
    Routing Table
    Configuration
    tab.
  2. Select the backplane or link to which you want to add the module.
  3. Right-click and select
    Add Module
    .
  4. In the
    Select Module
    dialog box, select the module type for the module you want to add.
  5. Click
    OK
    .
  6. Select from the following table:
    Adding a module to:
    Do this:
    The controlLogix backplane
    In
    Slot Number
    ,
    of the
    Add Module
    dialog box, enter a slot number. Valid values are 0-19 (decimal). The ControlLogix system begins slot numbering at 0.
    A ControlNet link
    In
    Network Address
    ,
    of the
    Add Module
    dialog box enter a network address. Valid values are 0-99 (decimal).
    An Ethernet link
    In
    IP Address
    , of the
    Add Module
    dialog box, enter an IP address. Valid values are xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx where xxx is a number from 0-255 (decimal).
    A DH+ link
    In
    Station Address
    , of the
    Add Module
    dialog box, enter a station address. Valid values are 0-77 (octal).
  7. In
    port link ID
    of the
    Add Module
    dialog box, enter any link IDs of the link on the other side of the module. Valid values are 1-199 (decimal).
  8. Click
    OK
    .
    TIP:
    If you do not want to assign a link ID, enter
    0
    . DH+ bridge modules allow a list of link IDs to be entered. Link IDs are all the links that can be reached through that bridge. Workstations can have a link ID that is used to deliver unsolicited requests to applications on that workstation, where each application has its own station address.
