RS-232 DF1 Device configuration
This hardware driver applies to Allen-Bradley DF1 serial devices (1770 KF2B, 1770 KF3, 1747-KE, 1785-KE, 1770-KFC, 1747-KFC15, 1770-KFC15, 1770-KFCD15), and the Channel 0 port of New Platform PLC-5's (NP5) and SLC 5/03, 5/04. When you select an
RS-232 DF1 Devices
driver to add or edit, RSLinx Classic opens a Configure RS-232 DF1 Devices
dialog box.
IMPORTANT:
The 1770-KFC Driver in RSLinx Classic is supported for use with ControlNet Release 1.25
products. Use with versions of ControlNet hardware prior to this can result in
communication problems, processor faulting, or complete lock-up of PLC-5C processors.
ControlNet Release 1.25 products include, but not limited to, PLC 5/20C and PLC 5/40C
processors, series C - rev K, or series D - rev B.
