Set database login options

Use
ODBC Database Destination Setup
to enter the login information required if the ODBD database is secured and the user needs to log in.
To set database login options
  1. Check
    Login required
if the database is secured and the user needs to log in. When using
    Windows
    authentication with a
    SQL Server
    database, select this check box.
  2. In the
    User name
field, type the login user ID. If the database does not support a user ID, enter a space in this box.
    When using
    Windows NT®
    authentication (rather than
    SQL Server
authentication), enter the fully-qualified user name in the format DOMAIN\UserName or user@domain.com (for UPN-style entries). Without a fully-qualified user name, the connection to the database might fail.
  3. In the
    Password
field, type the login password. When using
    Windows
    authentication with a
    SQL Server
database, ensure that the password matches the
    Windows NT
    authentication password for the user.
  4. In the
    Confirm password
field, retype the password entered above.
