Set database login options
Use
ODBC Database Destination Setup
to enter the login information required if the ODBD database is secured and the user needs to log in.To set database login options
- CheckLogin requiredif the database is secured and the user needs to log in. When usingWindowsauthentication with aSQL Serverdatabase, select this check box.
- In theUser namefield, type the login user ID. If the database does not support a user ID, enter a space in this box.When usingWindows NT®authentication (rather thanSQL Serverauthentication), enter the fully-qualified user name in the format DOMAIN\UserName or user@domain.com (for UPN-style entries). Without a fully-qualified user name, the connection to the database might fail.
- In thePasswordfield, type the login password. When usingWindowsauthentication with aSQL Serverdatabase, ensure that the password matches theWindows NTauthentication password for the user.
- In theConfirm passwordfield, retype the password entered above.
