Configure a namespace

A namespace is initially created by default. You can add a namespace as needed. You can back up or restore the namespace in the
Custom OPC UA Namespace
 pane when you select the namespace node.
To configure a namespace
  1. Select
    Custom Namespace
    , and then select Add icon, or in the
    Custom OPC UA Namespace
     pane, select
    Add
    .
  2. Select the namespace that you add, and then configure
    Name
    and
    Index
    for the namespace in the
    Namespace Properties
    pane.
    The valid range of
    Index
    is from 10 through 9,999.
    The namespace name is case-sensitive.
    Set the access.
