Import a certificate

When establishing a connection between an OPC UA client and
FactoryTalk Linx Gateway
, the certificates from both sides need to be presented and trusted separately.
The user can select to manually import an incoming certificate and a custom outgoing certificate (Prior to version 6.20.00, an outgoing certificate is created by
FactoryTalk Linx Gateway
by default).
Prerequisites
  • The
    FactoryTalk Linx Gateway
server and the OPC client must be installed on the same workstation.

    , and then select
    Import
    .
