Back up and restore the database

Back up and restore the Historian WebTrend database to ensure data availability and continuity. Only users assigned the Administrator role can perform backups and restorations. To preserve trends saved in
FactoryTalk Historian SE
 version 11.00.00, upgrade
FactoryTalk Historian SE
 to version 12.00.00, and then back up and restore saved trends.
For any problems encountered during the backup and restoration, see the log files in the following default locations:
  • C:\ProgramData\Rockwell Software\FactoryTalk Historian\Historian WebTrend Data Provider\Logs
  • C:\ProgramData\Rockwell Software\FactoryTalk Historian\Historian WebTrend\Logs
